FROM 3 GENERATIONS
The Deiana family has been processing granite in Olbia for 3 generations, both local and other national or foreign types.
It also extracts the Giallo San Giacomo granite from the tip of a hill overlooking the island of La Maddalena and the Costa Smeralda.
Deiana Graniti was born with Giovanni, she experienced the building boom in the area with Paolino and then the second generation transition with her children, Gianni, Domenico and Marco.
The company works the granites on commission, making various artifacts for interior and exterior furnishings, such as kitchen tops, fireplaces, floors, jambs and architraves
The processes are carried out using the techniques of the old Olbia’s tradition: half-point, bush hammering and polishing, the latter two made with technological and innovative machinery.
Furthermore, Deiana Graniti carries out the extraction and processing of the Yellow San Giacomo Granite directly in its own quarry in Silvaredda, near Olbia.
PASSION IN WORK AND RESPECT FOR THE ENVIRONMENT
Since the processing of the Yellow San Giacomo Granite is carried out directly in its quarry, the cutting machines are a few tens of meters from the quarry.
For this reason, to all intents and purposes, it can be said that Diana Graniti’s production can be defined as zero kilometer and certainly respectful of the environment.
In fact, the processing scraps are nothing more than granite dust mixed with water, and thanks to the authorizations obtained from the competent authorities they are disposed of directly in the quarry.
